2 | tsp. baking soda | |||||||
1/2 | tsp salt | |||||||
1 1/2 | cups raisins | |||||||
1 1/2 | cups chopped pecans | |||||||
1/4 | cup butter or marg. | |||||||
1/2 | cup salad oil, (or applesauce for less fat) | |||||||
2 | cups sugar | |||||||
6 | bannas mashed | |||||||
4 | eggs beaten | |||||||
1 1/2 | tsp vanilla | |||||||
Preheat oven to 300 f. | ||||||||
Sift first 3 ingrediants, add raisins and toss lightly | ||||||||
Cream butter, oil & sugar. | ||||||||
Add next 3 things, mix until blended | ||||||||
Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans, 9 x 5 | ||||||||
Bake at 300 f. for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until done. | ||||||||
