| 3 | cups flour | |||||||
| 2 | tsp. baking soda | |||||||
| 1/2 | tsp salt | |||||||
| 1 1/2 | cups raisins | |||||||
| 1 1/2 | cups chopped pecans | |||||||
| 1/4 | cup butter or marg. | |||||||
| 1/2 | cup salad oil, (or applesauce for less fat) | |||||||
| 2 | cups sugar | |||||||
| 6 | bannas mashed | |||||||
| 4 | eggs beaten | |||||||
| 1 1/2 | tsp vanilla | |||||||
| Preheat oven to 300 f. | ||||||||
| Sift first 3 ingrediants, add raisins and toss lightly | ||||||||
| Cream butter, oil & sugar. | ||||||||
| Add next 3 things, mix until blended | ||||||||
| Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans, 9 x 5 | ||||||||
| Bake at 300 f. for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until done. | ||||||||
